Shri R. K. Singh, Minister of State (IC) for Power and New & Renewable Energy, launched the National Power Portal (NPP) today. NPP is a centralised IT system which facilitates online data capture from generation, transmission and distribution utilities across the country.
THE DASHBOARD
The best part about the portal is its Dashboard that provides a wide range of information such as operational capacity, demand, supply, consumption, etc. NPP’s dashboard will also act as the single-point interface for all Power Sector Apps launched previously by the Ministry, like TARANG, UJALA, and others.
