Smart Watches to Track Attendance Irregularities for Sanitary Workers

Imagine a GPS-enabled wrist watch keeping track on any irregularities in attendance at workplace. That is exactly what Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has flagged off to monitor on any irregularities in attendance for its sanitary workers. Implemented under the concept of Smart City project, NMC  is in the process of paying of Rs 270 per month for 8,000 smart wrist watches for the next seven years. In a month’s time NMC would provide these wrist watches to over 7500 sanitary workers.
